The existing Police Station was determined to be obsolete and beyond repair. Therefore, a new 38,000 sq. ft. Police Headquarters is to be constructed on the same site as the existing building. Once the construction of the new is complete, the original building will be demolished and the area turned into parking spaces. The new facility includes: Offices, Dispatch Area, Holding Cells, Sally-Port, Locker Facilities, and small municipal court space.
