A 29-acre site that was originally an industrial building location was purchased for a new Emergency Training Facility.  This facility includes a 28,000 sq. ft. Administration / Training Facility, 10,500 sq. ft. Hazmat Building, 19,000 sq. ft. 100-yard Rifle Range, 3,600 sq. ft. Burn Building, and 3,000 sq. ft. Drill Tower as well as other smaller Auxiliary Buildings.  This facility will be used to train Policemen, Firemen, Paramedics and perform driver training.  It will also be used for fire arms training, including tactical training in the Rifle Range.  The Burn Building has indoor fire simulators. There are outdoor fire simulators including a liquid fuel spill simulator.  The drill tower is used for repelling and search and rescue.  The Hazmat Building is used to store emergency response vehicles.  The Rifle Range has two stations; one at a 100-yards and the other at 50-yards.  This facility is state-of-the-art with automatic target retrieval system and an HVAC system that provides proper exhaust and filtration of the air.
