Oticon

Oticon, a manufacturer of state-of-the-art hearing aids, decided to purchase an office building twice as large as the rental building they were in to allow for expansion. SAE was the prime MEP consultant for this multi-phase project, which involved complete renovations throughout an existing 5-story corporate office building. Work included a main data center/computer room with CRAC’s, 120 kVA UPS system, critical power distribution system, and a clean agent fire suppression system with secondary pre-action sprinklers. Other features included an atrium smoke exhaust system, packaged variable air volume HVAC units, 300 kW emergency/standby generator with two automatic transfer switches and distribution branches.
