In order to maintain the historical qualities of the building the HVAC heat pump systems were specially designed to fit within tight spaces and to be unobtrusive. The electrical design included various types of lighting systems to support teleconferencing and to provide flexibility and dimming via preset control stations. The work also included an upgraded electric service, fire alarm, sprinkler and telecommunication systems.
